Dear relationship,
Recently we have informed you about the availability of products used against the spread of the Coronavirus.
A large number of countries stopped exporting these products last week. This includes products such as dust masks, overalls, glasses, hand gels and other related products.
As a result, we are at not able to deliver the current orders placed by you in a short term and unfortunately we cannot inform nor confirm when deliveries will resume.
In addition, we do not have real clarity regarding the delivery times for regular products that are produced in the Far East. Due to the Coronavirus, not all production facilities have been fully started up yet. This makes it impossible to provide exact delivery times. We are in daily contact with our suppliers to stay informed and will inform you as soon as there is more clarity about deliveries. It is also in line with expectations that a price increase will follow for a number of products as a result of price increases in the areas of raw materials, freight and labour costs. Therefore, this might have consequences for your current orders.
Due to the present situation, we are obliged to adjust our General Terms and Conditions of Sale temporarily, meaning all current orders placed by you regarding the Coronavirus are irrevocable and cannot be returned after delivery.
Before proceeding definitively, we would of course like to give you the opportunity to examine your current outstanding Corona-related orders. On request we can send you a so-called back order list of all your outstanding orders. If you believe that orders should be canceled, we offer you the opportunity to do this free of charge within 5 working days after receipt of this letter. These orders will then be removed from our system.
Obviously, we will do everything we can to continue to supply you as much as possible with regard to the regular purchase, but are not able to guarantee this. We rely on your understanding in this.
