For starters, women have only had access to some traditional male occupations for the past decades. When they did, no one really bothered when a jacket or pair of trousers was ill fitted – usually women tended to look like walking tents or like bags at best.

Madame Sioen, our founder who suddenly deceased in the beginning of this year, did care. She steered our company as a true “mater familias”, empowering women for years until she retired in 2014. She pushed our teams to create professional protective clothing for women ever since the very beginning.

Sioen therefore decided to focus on the needs of women in the industry: protective workwear that is fitted to their shape. uvex aXess one: safe hearing in a loud environment

The uvex aXess one protects against harmful noise while the Real-Active Listening (RAL) function allows you to hear the sound from your surroundings at a safe level. Two Bluetooth connections are also possible at the same time, which means that for example, a smartphone and a walkie-talkie can be connected to the uvex aXess one simultaneously. This makes clear communication possible without interrupting your work.

The transmitted volume of ambient noise can be individually adjusted. The integrated sound level limiter protects hearing from impulse noise. This enables good communication and improved perception of warning signals.

When you are not using the uvex aXess one, it can be stored away small and conveniently thanks to the foldable headband. uvex has a hearing protection pouch in which the uvex aXess one fits perfectly and which can be easily attached to the belt, so that the hearing protection is always to hand.

The uvex aXess one offers an attenuation of 31 dB and can be fully charged via USB-C in 2.5 hours. Thanks to the closing caps, these ear muffs are also suitable for use in dusty and damp working environments.

The ear muffs are comfortable to wear due to the extra-soft memory foam ear pads, the optimal cap geometry for a pressure-free seal around the ear, the infinitely variable length adjustment for a perfect wearing position and the padded headband.

OXXA – Discover the OXXA X-Grip 51-000

The OXXA X-Grip 51-000 from the OXXA Premium segment features a latex crinkle coating. This gives these robust but very flexible gloves excellent sensitivity in various conditions. The crinkle finish on the fingers and palm gives the wearer excellent grip both in wet and dry working conditions. Moldex – Hearing protection: can it be hygienic and durable?

The existing range of products has been expanded in recent years with many products for hygiene and prevention. As a manufacturer of respiratory and hearing protection, you have to go along with this development; you cannot stay behind. This is not easy, because the aspect of sustainability is also becoming increasingly important. Moldex has succeeded in expanding the hearing protection line with a number of new products. These products fit in perfectly with the current situation. The starting point for this was the key words ‘hygiene and sustainability’. We also took continuity into account – it is important to be efficient in the distribution of hearing protection because the work must continue.
