Black Friday has drifted over from the US to become an integral part of online shopping and the retail landscape. The high discounts are very interesting for consumers and encourage them to purchase products. EMMA Safety Footwear does not participate in the discount craziness for sustainability reasons. But we do respond to Black Friday, namely with our Black Collection!

EMMA’s Black Collection

Instead of engaging in mass Black Friday consumption, EMMA Safety Footwear chooses a more sustainable path with EMMA’s Black Collection. Safety shoes that are sustainably produced, durable, and available through local dealers. Recycled materials are also used in production.

• The closure is made of 98% recycled PET
• The lining is made of 76% recycled PES (polyester)
• The Inlay sole is made of 85% recycled content

Not only is the EMMA Black Collection sustainable, almost all EMMA safety shoes are manufactured sustainably. Among other things, this means that:

• We use water-based glue in part of our production process.
• The materials used in our shoes are selected for their durability and long service life.
• EMMA strives to minimise its CO2 emissions, energy consumption, and waste production.
• Reclaimed raw materials and recycled materials are used in new products.
